A natural beauty solutions blog to help women in their quest to remain youthful. Sharing my personal experience with facial exercises, natural skincare, and a natural cellulite reduction solution.
Hello followers of April's blog. I have been using Carole Maggio's basic Facercise routine for several months now for reasons other than cosmetic. I suffer from PFMS (Primary Fibromyalgia Syndrome) and, due to the intense pain, experience extreme tension and discomfort in my face--including TMJ. My eyes are often "pouchy" (I also suffer from multiple chemical sensitivity, allergies, and FMS patients rarely sleep well), the pouchiness dissipating during the day into a saggy and painful pulling down on one side of my face. Since I have had to stop my teaching and research due to the intensity of my symptoms, I have little disposable income. However, I had to do something, so I researched "facial exercises" on the Internet and hit with Carole Maggio's version. I was able to find 2 older DVDs at a personal sale, and ordered the book from my library. The difference is amazing. The eye exercises have almost eliminated the "pulling down" tension in the eye, the TMJ is much reduced (we are talking a time not 3 months ago when just speaking or eating was extraordinarily painful to being able to do so almost normally again!), the Jaw Strengthener and Face Strengthener has significantly reduced tension and pain, as has the lip exercises. My migraines (again, due to tension from pain) have decreased, as well. This is not medical advice: I am not a physician. But I had to share my non-cosmetic experience with Facercise as a testimony to positive effects outside of just how I look. Have I had postive cosmetic results? You BETCHA! I no longer look exhausted and "hollow-eyed" all of the time. Facercise has done for my facial tension and pain what moderate exercise has done for my body pain. This may not work for everyone; however, it certainly did--and does--for me. Thanks for letting me share. Janice Cáceres, New York, U.S.A.
Stay at home mom with one 12-year old son. I enjoy exercising, in particular bike riding and running with my dog. I keep both my body and my face in good shape with daily exercise. I use Carole Maggio's Facercise routine to tone my face and revitalize my complexion. I use her natural based skincare line to keep Father Time at bay! I've recently begun using her new No Lipo, Lipo routine to spot treat the cellulite on my thighs. WOW ~ what a huge difference it's made! I enjoy being home and being available whenever my son needs me. He is a great kid, student & athlete. My son is also a lefty pitcher who emulates Andy Pettite of the NY Yankees. We all enjoy watching New York Yankees baseball together as a family!
